We draw your attention to our practice charter.

As a practice, we maintain a system of personal lists. Patients will be allocated a named doctor when registering at the practice and are expected to see that doctor when medically necessary.

Commitments outside surgery times will inevitably mean that on certain days, doctors are not immediately available. Under these circumstances, we will offer an appointment for your registered GP when he is next available or with another GP on the same day if the problem is considered medically necessary for that day. The reception staff have a difficult task managing the demand for appointments, and work within protocols carefully laid out by the partners. We are grateful for your continued understanding.

Changing doctors – we understand that you may feel that it is appropriate to change your registration to a different doctor within the practice. Under these circumstances, we would be grateful if you could make this request in writing to the practice manager.

Our nurses are trained to deal with certain minor illnesses (see routine appointments).
